Revolutionary Guards' gravy train keeps moving along
Wednesday, November 11, 2009 at 4:13PM The engineering wing of Iran's Revolutionary Guards (IRGC), Khatam-ol-Anbia, has been awarded a contract worth $2.5 billion to construct a railway linking the southeastern port city of Chabahar to the rest of the country's rail network. The BBC estimates that the IRGC currently controls a staggering one-third of Iran's economy.
